Spider Prom
Gitai: For some reason, a giant house spider was out and about in my house the other day. It was totally the wrong season. The next day, he was dead.
Me: Poor spider. He was confused.
Gitai: I’m still confused about how he grew so giant at this time of year.
Me: Maybe he was hibernating all winter.
Gitai: He died without mating, then.
Me: Probably. Poor guy.
Gitai: Clearly, he should have made a bet to mate before spider prom.
Me: Heeeee. I love spider prom.
Gitai: I see a four panel comic!
Me: I just want to draw spider prom now.
Gitai: Spider tuxedos and spider dresses, and they arrive in limos.
Me: Hehehehe. And spiders drinking punch, and the prom queen and king.
Gitai: Awkward spider slow dancing!
Me: With a spider teacher carrying around a ruler to make sure they stay like four inches apart or something.
Gitai: OMG. If you made it a Catholic school prom, that would be even better, because then you get spider nuns.
Me: Spider nuns make me so happy I could cry.

Sometimes my cat won’t eat her food when I’m at home, so on weekends it’s hard to get her to eat.  When she finally starts, I can’t move or make too much noise or she’ll stop eating. So… it’s a good thing there are people on the internet to entertain me.
